York Mills is a wealthy neighbourhood located around Yonge Street and York Mills Road in North York. Known for its high income level, it is one of the neighbourhoods known as ‘Millionaires’ Row’.

Half of the occupied dwellings within York Mills are single detached homes, with many having been rebuilt and customized according to taste. From 2001 to 2006, property values increased by 47.6%. 28% of the population reside in 5 or more storey apartment buildings. Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue are the area’s main arteries and they serve as major roadways to and from the city’s core. This on top of the maintenance of the neighbourhood’s natural beauty and tranquility makes it one of the most desirable in Toronto.
